Bridging the gap between science and business has always been a dilemma - a widening gap that has watched the genius of many life saving ideas wash down the drain.   This gap is known as the "Valley of Death" between research idea development and its commercialization.

Dr Sherron Sparks has taken her interest and studies of Nanotechnology,  her 30 years in small business development, graduate studies in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and experiential knowledge in business development, coaching and training to the drawing board and has become a catalyst the field of Nanotechnology Commercialism.  Helping to bridge the "Valley of Death"  by assisting scientists as they take their concept to commercial production is an individual journey.  "I have seen many ideas stolen and people cheated out of their legacy because they do not know how to protect themselves," says Dr. Sparks.  "This program is a combination of careful mentoring and the strategic navigation of business development within the realm of Nanotechnology."
